STREET FRIENDS
One wanted his photo taken, the other did not. I tried to get them to pose together. Then I said, "Smile," and he stuck his tongue out at me! I love it when people on the street want me to take their photo. It's instant material for me usually.
I think these guys were coming from the Dorothy Day shelter. One day I would love to go to the shelter and do portraits for folks. I saw someone who did a project at a shelter, and it seemed like it would be such a rewarding event.
