And I don't think he realized why this candid portrait was so awesome!
I actually just thought this St. Paul police officer looked cool standing there, so I asked if I could take his photo. He gladly obliged, and then when I was editing, I realized the sign said it all! Ha!
I love taking portraits of people, and candid portraits are actually a favorite because people are just in a natural state as opposed to a portrait "sitting" when they are forced to pose or smile. This cop looked pretty happy with his job for the day.
